FOOD · DIGNITY · COMMUNITY
Everybody Eats™ is UYC’s ongoing weekly effort to help feed the community through the shared generosity of local food pantries, restaurants, families, sponsors and volunteers.
THE SIMPLE BELIEF
Everybody Eats™ connects available food with people who can use it—without judgment, complicated barriers or shame. It creates an ongoing network that can respond to everyday food insecurity as well as urgent community needs.
The effort is powered by the people and organizations already feeding our neighborhoods: local pantries, restaurants with food or resources to share, families who want to contribute and volunteers willing to help move it all.
HOW EVERYBODY EATS WORKS
Pantries, restaurants, grocers, caterers and families contribute food, meals, funds or supplies.
UYC works with trusted community partners to identify needs, organize distribution and reduce barriers.
Food reaches individuals and families through welcoming, accessible community distribution.
WEEKLY COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Everybody Eats operates weekly. Because the day, time, location, available quantities and pickup process can change, UYC confirms those details directly before each distribution.
To participate, ask about the current location, schedule, whether advance registration or a referral is required, household limits, what to bring, accessibility and transportation options, and any weather-related change.
